Roadmap

We're a small team, so this page is short and honest. Dates aren't promises; if something slips, we'd rather say so here than ship something half-baked.

Live now

  • mail. Web client, zero-access encrypted mail (bodies and attachments decrypted on your device), tracking-pixel stripping, vacation responder, named aliases, plus-addressing, and per-domain catchalls.
  • dns. Zones, common record types (A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV, CAA), two-click record editing, and a bearer-token REST API (the certbot-dns-yeil plugin uses it).
  • team. Shared domains, member invites, permission groups, team-owned dns zones, single billing.
  • account. Self-serve account deletion, sessions list with per-session revoke, GDPR-style data export, two-factor auth, passkeys, recovery phrase.
  • Status page. Live uptime and incident history at status.yeil.org.

Working on next

  • Native iOS app (built and in testing; App Store release coming soon).
  • Better mail filter UI; right now filtering is functional but spartan.
  • One-click import from common mail providers.
  • Encrypting message headers (subjects, sender, recipient), so even metadata is sealed.

On the table, no commitment yet

  • Calendar (CalDAV).
  • Contacts (CardDAV).
  • Webhooks for dns record changes.

Explicitly not on the roadmap

These aren't coming. They'd compromise the thing we're building:

  • Ads in the apps, in mail, anywhere.
  • Tracking pixels, analytics SDKs, or third-party trackers in the apps.
  • AI features that read your mail or train on your data.
  • Selling your data, or sharing it with data brokers.
  • Tiered plans with the “real” features gated behind an enterprise upsell.
